Justin Hawkins ska spela in en ny version av Tigertailz "Love Bomb Baby" tillsammans med gruppens sångare, Kim Hooker. Detta kan bli riktigt intressant och kan kanske ge bandet en liten uppsving, sådär 20 år senare ;)
Tigertailz har även spelat hela deras album, BEZERK, live så sent som den 10:e oktober. Tanken är att bandet ska spela den i sin helhet igen och kanske släppa den som en liveplatta.
"Love Bomb Baby is, of course, from the Welsh glam band’s 1990 album Bezerk. The band performed the album in its entirety for the first time ever, on Saturday October 10 at The Borderline in London. And they might be repeating the process.
“We’ve had so many people say they wanted to see it,” explains guitarist Jay Pepper. “But couldn’t make it to London. So it would almost be unfair of us not to do it again. We go to Northern Ireland for the first time, on October 17 [The Diamond Rock Club in Ahoghill], and how can we NOT do Bezerk?”
The band – now also featuring bassist Glenn Nailz and drummer Matt Blakout – are also considering releasing a live version of Bezerk next year, although this isn’t definite.
“We have talked about this, yes,” admits Hooker. “We’ll record all the shows where we do it, and then see how it sounds. Right now, we’re also working on a new studio album. But that could be put on the back burner for this.” (läs mer här)
